CarPlan Exhaust Repair Bandage
Tough epoxy resin bandage which bonds to the exhaust system
- Provides a long-lasting, gas tight repair for large holes and splits

- Can be used in conjunction with CarPlan Exhaust Repair Paste
CarPlan Exhaust Repair Bandage is a tough, impregnated woven bandage which bonds to the exhaust system with the application of heat, creating a long lasting, gas tight repair for large holes and splits. It is quick and easy-to-use with no need to dismantle the exhaust.
The pack contains:
- 1 x Bandage
- 1 x Fixing Wire
- 1 x Flame Shield
Can be used in conjunction with CarPlan Exhaust Repair Paste.
Directions:
- Ensure surface to be repaired is dry and free from rust, oil and dirt. Sand metal with an abrasive paper or wire brush to provide a good key.
- Warm the exhaust for a few minutes. On any holes or splits, apply CarPlan Exhaust Repair Paste over the damaged areas.
- Soak the bandage briefly in warm water to make pliable. Wrap the bandage over the repair area tightly, overlapping the edges by at least 2cm.
- Apply the fixing wire tightly to secure the bandage. Run the engine gently for 20 minutes or drive carefully whilst the bandage is curing and setting.
