• CarPlan Blue Star Antifreeze is mono-ethylene glycol-based, offering year-round protection and meets British Standard BS6580 (2010).
• Provides winter protection down to -36°C with a 60% solution; do not dilute below 40%.
• Protects for up to 2 years and contains anti-corrosion additives and a bittering agent to prevent ingestion.
• Methanol-free and suitable for all engine types, ensuring performance in all driving conditions.

CarPlan Blue Star Antifreeze & Coolant is a mono-ethylene glycol-based antifreeze and coolant concentrate providing exceptional all-year-round protection and performance in all driving conditions. Blue Star Antifreeze meets British Standard BS6580 (2010) and contains anti-corrosion additives to protect the system.

Winter Protection: For general UK conditions use a 40% solution (2 parts antifreeze to 3 parts water). For optimum protection down to -36°C use a 60% solution (3 parts antifreeze to 2 parts water). Do not dilute below 40%.

Directions for Use:

1. Drain and flush the cooling system with clean water. If sludge is evident use Carlube Radiator Flush for a complete cooling system preparation.
2. Check all hoses, clips and joints for leakage. Tighten or replace where necessary.
3. Remove radiator or expansion tank cap, fill the radiator with antifreeze to give the level of protection required (refer to the vehicle handbook for total volume of the cooling system). Replace cap.
4. Run engine until it reaches normal operating temperature to remove any air locks.
5. Switch off engine and allow to cool. Check for and correct any leaks. Top up with water if necessary.

Note: If neat fluid is spilt on paintwork rinse off immediately with water. It is recommended antifreeze levels are checked regularly. If top-up is required, use CarPlan Blue Star Antifreeze mixed to the same solution previously used. Store product in a secure upright position.
